My dear friend Celine. 

You've watched me grow from a teen to a young lady. I will never forget you. Everything you have taught me in life- I will remember your words.

And I promise I will never stop doing what I love.

You will be missed but never forgotten.

I have so much respect for you missy- and I know your energy and charisma will live on! Watch over all of us.

Good News & Bad News

Good news is that I've finally converted my old MSN Space to wordpress. But most likely I won't continue writing entries in it as I've already started this one. Out with the old, in with the new- right??  Bad news is that I haven't updated this in a while since being back from Chester due to my computer failed on me and I need to go get it fixed!! Which I will tomorrow! It's going to cost me an arm and a leg but I suppose it's better than having nothing!

So, a quick update! Alan had completed his Kilimanjaro Charity climb- well done!

I was at the Tutankhamun Exhibition with Romeo last Friday 25th Feb. Although the artifacts are replicas but they were so good!! They might have been the real deal!! Although the exhibition wasn't as big as I thought it would be- it was still great. Thanks Romeo for bringing me to see Valley of the Kings!!!

Nothing much new with me lately - I'm just looking to upload my pictures from Chester and Tutankhamun!

I recently drew a canvas on my under the stairs toilet and have started painting it. Its not finished yet but so far so good. Can't wait to show you all!!!

Pain is knowing you're right for each other, just not right now.

Cheshire Trip

So- I had my color exam on 17th Feb. I did Alan's hair pink as he was going to Kilimanjaro for the MCCCC. Straight after that Yan came to pick us up and we headed for the airport. We flew to Liverpool Airport and Uncle Hoan and Hailey came to pick us up. We were driving around for some time because Hoan took the wrong turn. Had McDonalds then went to aunty Kim's house. The kids are so cute- Brandon and Elisha! We went to Cheshire Oaks with the kids to watch Tangled- a Disney cartoon and it was pretty good! After that, Hoan came to pick us up and we went to the outlets and did some shopping. I bought a skirt and a jacket from Jane Norman which I'm very pleased with! Then we went to get kebabs and then headed to Brandon House to check it out.

Next day- aunty Kim made pho for lunch then dropped myself, Yan, Alan and Hailey to Chester to tour around. We did a bit of shopping and checked out Chester Cathedral. I've never been inside a church or a cathedral before so it was great to see what it was like.... Aunty Kim picked us up then we went to her buffet restaurant- The Chef's Wok and had a buffet. Went baack to her house and sang some karaoke for couple hours then we played Big2 and had a few drinks til 2:30am. Aunty Kim is so funny when she's drunk!! Hahaha...

We were up early on Saturdaay as we were flying home in the evening. Aunty Kim took us to Manchester Trafford Centre to do some shopping. We had dimsum first at Pacific in Chinatown. The shopping centre is really big and I bought a pair of white Skechers. After shopping we headed back to Aunty Kim's house and had a small dinner and then she toook us to the airport. We flew home at 8:30pm. It has been a great weekend even though time was short. But will definately visit again!!

Awh- I wish I can upload the pictures but my computer has gone a little stupid. Alan is gone to Kilimanjaro today so guess I'll have to wait 10 days when he comes home to have a little look at it.

I've been painting the downstairs toilet to a mint green color. So far so good but going to repaint it to a silk mint green. After I've done all that I will try and paint a nice canvas on one side of the wall. Will upload pictures after I finish. Mom wants birds and flowers. I will have to browse the internet for some inspiration and ideas!

My brother Vinh and I have decided to swap rooms. I really want his room because of the wardrobes. And he wants my room because it's slightly bigger. I will have to make a few changes to his room though - maybe a paint job and some new decor! Can't wait to start on my little mission! All this won't happen yet til Yan moves to Cheshire.. Slowly counting the days- guess I will really miss her- my stooooopid sister!! 

Been listening to Lady Antebellum- Need You Now for the first time ever yesterday even though its been out since last year! I'm in love with the song! I have it on repeat constantly and I'd say it has clocked up more than 100 on replay now! It perfectly described my emotions at that time when I heard it. VDay-

So, it's Valentines Day today. Outside is pretty freezing! I've just made Chicken Salad for myself and Alan. I've never liked eating salads before but this salad is my favourite.. Maybe its because I love the dressing so much!! Ahhh.. I'm sorry there's no picture.. I guess I was just too hungry to even think about taking pictures of my food. Salad contained of: 

1/2 bag of Rocket Leaves

1/2 canned sweetcorn

1/2 onions (thinly sliced)

2 medium sized fillet chicken (cut into strips then grilled in Worcester Sauce)

Thousand Island Sauce for dressing (2 tablespoons each- drizzled on salad)

                                        

I was at Romeo's house yesterday and his mom made Moussaka. Its a greek dish- filled with mince, aubergines and topped with bechamel sauce. Its actually really really nice. I might attempt to make it sometime and will upload the pictures and recipe. But firstly- need to find a simple recipe then I can add  my own bits and pieces to it. Cooking is all about having fun and adding your own flavour to it rather than following the cook books down to a T.
